Learn from the world’s brightest minds.With further postgraduate training, graduates may also become medical practitioners with enhanced research capabilities, or medical laboratory scientists. Graduates may work as cutting-edge medical researchers contributing to advancements in the diagnosis and management of disease, as experts in commercialisation, testing and development of innovative medical therapies, or as medical science communicators. Students will gain ‘career-ready’ skills in purpose-built laboratories and graduate well prepared to collaborate on scientific investigations of human structure and function in health and disease at a molecular, cellular and whole systems level. The Bachelor of Biomedical Science focuses on the basic knowledge of the structure and function of the human body, preparing students for a career in a wide range of biomedical fields.
